“To teach is to touch a Life forever”
The school year has started, but first we wanted to give some teachers a little wardrobe LOVE! LOFT hosted a special event a few weekends ago for some of our Central Florida teachers and I was invited! I got the opportunity to work with some of the teachers showing them how to transition their wardrobe from day to night. I have several clients that are teachers and when it comes to their wardrobe they want to be comfortable! Being stylish is not always a top priority for them, but as a stylist I guide them to silhouettes and styles that work best on them! I love how LOFT creates modern, feminine and versatile clothing for a wide range of women with one common style goal: to look and feel confident, wherever the day takes them. If you’re a teacher and you’re looking to spice up your looks for school, Fashionality is here to help. With my wardrobe styling services we will assess your closet and create “new” looks from your current wardrobe. This will maximize your potential style, leaving you amazed at how many outfit combinations we’ve created!
It’s always a pleasure working with LOFT and thank you again for having me as your guest stylist!!

Last Saturday I hosted an event called, Transition your Closet from Summer to Fall at Banana Republic Factory https://bananarepublicfactory.gapfactory.com/ store in Waterford Lakes. We had a great turn out as customers signed up to win door prizes, shopped and received some tips on transitioning their wardrobe. I want to thank ALL my clients who came out to support Fashionality and Banana Republic for having me as their guest stylist. If you missed the event, don’t worry I’ve got you covered. 😉 See below the details from the event.
Here are 3 ways to transition your wardrobe from “Summer” to “Fall”:
1. Layer Up
Layered looks aren’t only fashion-forward – they’re also completely functional. As you layer up your summer clothes, you create new looks that will keep you warm in a brisk breeze.
2. Adding some Fall colors
You can add a couple of pieces to extend the life of your lighter summer clothes. For example, turquoise, plum, brown or gold.
3. Don’t put away every ‘summer’ piece
Now’s the time to start hauling away your summer clothes and make room for your fall wardrobe, but not yet! Pack away anything that says “summer” such as linen shorts, cut-off shorts, strapless printed maxi dresses, and flat thong-like sandals. Keep out garments like (blouses, dresses, blazers), or heavier cotton garments (T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, sweatshirts), which can be worn all year around.
It would be easy to start buying new clothes for fall, especially now that retailors are putting out their new fall collection. You don’t have to buy a new fall wardrobe, let me help you add those darker colors, richer textures and layering pieces that will have turn your summer looks into fall!
It’s also the perfect time to reassess your closet and even hire a personal wardrobe stylist! I can help you with your personal style, understanding proper fit, introducing you to quality brands and making sure you’re wearing the right colors that look great on you!

Last Saturday Fashionality got the opportunity to do another event with http Just Blow It-Blow Dry Bar http://justblowitorlando.com/! They talked about Coloring Correcting and I handled the styling portion of the event; How to Build Your Wardrobe with Your Best Colors! Everyone can wear color-it all comes down to knowing the right shade of colors that look great on you. The first thing people notice about you is the color you are wearing. The “right” colors can brighten your eyes, even out your skin tones and you’re guaranteed a compliment. Here are a couple of simple test to help you identify if you’re colors are a “warm” or “cool”!
- Look at the palms of your hands; if you see blue, pink, red-violet or rosy tones, you are likely to look best in cool colors. If you see peach, golden, bright warm red or coral tones, warm colors are most likely your best colors.
- Grab two pieces of jewelry; silver and gold. Hold each against your skin and see which looks best on you. If gold looks best, you’re warm, if silver looks best, you’re a cool. If both look equally good, you’re a neutral.
This is only the beginning of this process, but the good news is I’m here to help! If you struggle with not knowing what colors look good on you or you don’t know how to add them in your wardrobe…give me a call! I would love help you understand your style, body shape and what are your best colors.
Thank you again Just Blow-Blow Dry Bar It for having me, we had a great time!! I look forward to your next topic!
